Workshops
Knowledge is worth little if not shared. We only came so far in our project by the generosity of many people that shared their knowledge and experience with us. We know that each one of us has the potential to learn and teach, and that this information transfer is essential to a healthy society. And now, after years of accumulation, we are ready and want to share it with others
In our atelier we offer divers workshops where you can learn about ceramics and clay techniques, where you can get inspiration and answers to your questions.
Our workshops are offered from 3-4 hours to weekend activities, or as a series that take place a few weeks in a row.

3 hours workshops
This workshops are designed to give you a good taste of ceramic art. In relaxing atmosphere we discus different approaches to clay and use simple, basic techniques to make something (a small cup, bird, fish, etc.). The works you make you can take with you, or leave at the atelier to be fired and sent to your home address afterwards (sending costs not included). This workshops are very popular for tourist passing by in search of extra activities, wanting to experience clay with their friends and/or families. The works made here are a nice reminder of the time spent in our mountains.

The price of this workshop is € 50,- per person.
Children up to 6 years free under (participating) parent supervision. Maximum number of participants is 6.

The price includes all working materials and tools, professional leading, firing of the works and refreshment: home made tea, plum brandy (sllivovic) coffee and snack's.
Local tour and clay workshop
Our few hours workshops can be extended to one whole day, by making a visit to the historical and natural sites in the area or adding some more clay making, glazing and firing activities.
In just a few hours we visit one of the deepest fresh water springs of the world (lake Sinjac), re-appearing lake Blata, Serbian orthodox church from 18th century and antifascist sites from the 2nd world war past.
Or, we can go further in exploring clay by working on pottery wheel, coloring and painting our work for the further drying and firing process.
As mentioned above, all the works you make belong to you. You can take them with you raw as they are or leave them in our atelier to be fired, glazed and sent to your home address afterwards.

The price includes all working materials and tools, professional leading, firing of the works (if desired), professional tour guide and refreshment: home made tea, brandy (sllivovic) coffee, drinks (wine, beer), and snack's. Snacks whole made of local ingredients, produced by our self or our neighbors.
More day's workshops
This workshops can be various combinations of the previous workshops. We go deeper in ceramic making art, we search for extra inspiration in our surroundings, experiment with new things. Along this we can cook our meals together, visit local farms, gather wild clay or herbs, make long hikes or day excursions in the area (Plitvice lakes, Karlovac, Adriatic see, Velebit, etc.). This workshops are designed for people staying in Plaški for more days and can be made in a row or as separated days.
The price of this workshop is € 100,- per person a day.
Children up to 6 years free under parent supervision. Maximum number of participants is 6.
The price includes all working materials and tools, professional leading, firing of the works (if desired), professional tour guide with assistance for other day's and, of coarse refreshment: home made tea, brandy (sllivovic) coffee, snack's, lunch and dinner, drinks. As above, lunch and dinner, are made of local ingredients, produced by our self or our neighbors.
Note: we do not offer sleeping accommodation. This can be find in the neighborhood and we can assist you in finding it.
